About Patrick’s Mission

Patrick is a high school student from Rye, NY, who has an older sister with autism. His art explores Erin’s unique perspective and relationships with those she loves.

“The Yellow Bus”

Erin loves bright colors as much as she loves routine. She loved the predictability of her yellow bus, the driver’s warm greeting, that it took her to see teachers and friends at school in the morning and brought her back home at the end of the day. Here’s to the bright people and places that make us feel happy, safe, and loved.

Depicts the special relationship between my sister and my mom using watercolors, creating a dream-like scene.

Mixed media collage portrait of Erin and her service dog, Pablo. Erin loved Pablo immensely. They shared a very special bond. This piece won a Scholastic Arts Award and was selected to hang in The Bruce Museum in Greenwich.
